Are you ready for some football?

August 14th, 2012 at Tue, 14th, 2012 at 2:48 pm by benwatanabe

Well, are you?

I am not, but I am excited to get back to Waterman Field, with its pitch and roll that takes visiting teams (and sometimes the home team) by surprise.

Football practices begin tomorrow for the Falcons. It will also be the first day of the 1A era for South Whidbey High School, which was reclassified from 2A which features Cascade Conference rivals like Archbishop Murphy, Lakewood and Cedarcrest high schools.

Any predictions on the Falcons’ future this season as a 1A program?
