Falcons face Red Wolves at home

January 24th, 2012 at Tue, 24th, 2012 at 10:46 am by benwatanabe

It’s been more than a week since the South Whidbey boys basketball team took the court. Tonight the Falcons face the Cedarcrest Red Wolves (5-3 conference; 9-5 overall) in Langley at 7 p.m.

The Falcons will play for their second conference win of the season and try to end a four-game losing streak.

Cedarcrest defeated South Whidbey 65-57 earlier this month in Duvall. In Cascade Conference contests, the Red Wolves average more than 67 points per game and allow only 56.

South Whidbey’s offense has declined since school resumed after the winter break. The Falcons scored 68, 57, 50, 29 and 40 points. In that span, they only have one victory.
