Reporter for the South Whidbey Record. Currently I cover Langley, South Whidbey Fire/EMS, the South Whidbey Parks & Recreation District, Clinton and sports. On any given night or any given weekday, I'm likely watching a baseball, basketball or football game on TV while reading Mother Jones, Esquire, The New York Times, The Seattle Times, The Daily Herald or scrolling through Twitter. If I can go sailing, I do. Fishing is a recently discovered hobby, but there are few things as exciting as getting a fish on the line and the battle between urgency and patience to haul it in. I don't much care for pets, but probably want to pet your dog or hold your cat.
