The Wildcats swept through their conference opponents, the South Whidbey Falcons included, en route to a 14-0 record. South Whidbey’s conference rival Archbishop Murphy continues to roll in the state 2A boys soccer tournament.

Archbishop Murphy defeated Mark Morris 2-0 last week, then blanked Bellingham 1-0 Friday. Both matches were on home turf at Everett Memorial Stadium. The AMHS Wildcats remain undefeated this season and take on the Cheney Blackhawks on Friday, May 25 at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner.

Bellingham eliminated South Whidbey from postseason play and barred the Falcons from the state tournament.

The Wildcats swept South Whidbey this season, including a 4-1 drubbing on the Falcons’ Senior Night.
