Quotable: Falcon football

After a 28-21 victory in South Whidbey’s Cascade Conference opener, the Falcons had a lot to say. It was a close contest, closer even than the score, a one touchdown edge, shows.

Here’s this week’s Quotable line. 

“We knew we had to stop them. We knew we could,” French said. “We got ‘Camp Nasty’ right there on the goal line.” – Nick French,  Falcon quarterback.

Then there’s this gem from junior receiver Nick Bennett: ”Their defense wasn’t as great as I thought they were.”
