Rain scraps District 1A tennis tournament, may be postponed again

October 15th, 2012 at Mon, 15th, 2012 at 1:26 pm by benwatanabe

Steady rain forced South Whidbey High School to postpone hosting the District 1 boys tennis tournament Saturday.

The plan is to host Coupeville, Friday Harbor, Lummi Nation and Meridian on Tuesday morning. As long as the courts are dry, the matches will begin at noon. Should rain drench the courts, the tournament will be pushed back to 11 a.m. Wednesday.
