6:44 a.m. — A driver in a white Honda was tailgating on Highway 525 near the Greenbank Store.
6:55 a.m. — An eagle was hit by a car on Highway 525 north of Bayview Road.
7:31 a.m. — A woman said her grandson was painting her porch but it wasn’t painting weather.
10:54 a.m. — A home appeared to have been burglarized on Clinton Beach Place.
12:46 p.m. — A woman said she may have left a tea kettle on the stove at her home on San Juan Avenue. She was at work at the library and wanted someone to go to her house and turn off the stove.
1:30 p.m. — A camera, crystal vase and jewelry were reported stolen on Coles Road.
1:59 p.m. — A caller on Morningtown Place complained of an ongoing problem with a black-and-white border collie chasing cars. A driver almost went into the ditch trying to avoid the dog.
3:32 p.m. — A woman said her mailbox was damaged on Kramer Road.
4:19 p.m. — A driver hit a deer on Highway 525 near Glenmoore Lane.
5:30 p.m. — A driver hit a deer on Highway 525 near Bayview Road and needed a tow truck.
8:21 p.m. — A caller could hear kids “screaming bloody murder” from behind the area of the Goose grocery. Someone was screaming for help.
9:21 p.m. — A woman had an argument with her son and he went into the woods behind the home.
10:29 p.m. — Dispatchers received an open-line 911 call and could hear a man yelling at another man about a dog.

Tuesday, July 12
8:01 a.m. — Nine yard lights were damaged in a yard on Rhodie Lane.
9:09 a.m. — Three young men were in a speeding vehicle on Highway 525 near Pacific Dogwood Drive. The caller said the driver was being reckless.
11:12 a.m. — A resident on Alderwood Street got into an argument with a neighbor about a deer fence.
11:26 a.m. — The glass was broken out of a transit bus stop at Highway 525 and Langley Road.

Friday, July 8
12:28 a.m. — A woman on Chipshot Way reported a possible prowler. She said someone knocked twice then tried to open the door.
6:36 a.m. — A caller on Aqua Lane said a sailboat with a buoy attached drifted by. It was headed toward Baby Island.
12:30 p.m. — Two loose dogs were being aggressive on Log Cabin Road.
12:55 p.m. — A caller said a silver Jeep Cherokee was blocking the roadway near Highway 525 and Fish Road. The caller didn’t stop to check the vehicle, but was worried that someone might be keeled over inside the Jeep.
1:47 p.m. — A caller wanted to know if there was a curfew for teenagers.
2:21 p.m. — A resident on East Harbor Road was having a property line dispute with a neighbor.
2:28 p.m. — A woman on Fircrest Avenue said she was told she could shoot the raccoons on her property to protect her dogs. She wanted to make sure it was legal.
3:37 p.m. — Someone was target practicing on Glendale Road.
4:07 p.m. — A whispering woman said she was having problems with a neighbor.
5:30 p.m. — Neighbors on East Harbor Road were having a property line dispute over a new fence.
11:33 p.m. — Loud music was heard on Huckleberry Lane.

Saturday, July 9
1 a.m. — Residents on Wahl Road said someone just blew up their mailbox.
2:54 a.m. — A possible DUI driver in a red vehicle was all over the roadway on Highway 525 near Bush Point Road.
9:13 a.m. — An elderly resident on Inverness Way was trapping cats and then leaving them in the traps without food or water.
9:44 a.m. — A woman on Ravenridge Drive said she received a fraudulent call.
10:12 a.m. — A woman on Woodard Avenue said someone blew up her mailbox last night.
12:18 p.m. — A caller said two dogs were locked in a vehicle at Ken’s Korner and the windows were rolled up.
2:35 p.m. — A caller complained of someone lighting M-80s at Whidbey Shores Road and Eastpoint Drive.
3:17 p.m. — Six to eight motorcycle riders were passing vehicles on both sides of the road on Highway 525 near Langley Road.
3:27 p.m. — A caller complained about people on the beach near Humphrey Road who were lighting fireworks.
5:35 p.m. — A caller said a fawn was in a ditch near Bercot Road and the mother deer was trying to help it.
5:45 p.m. — A caller on Mutiny Bay Road said a deer was in the yard and had a tomato/gardening cage stuck over its head.
8:56 p.m. — A caller complained about a noisy wedding party at a rental place near Coachman Court.
9:16 p.m. — A caller complained about fireworks near Old Beach Road and Shore Meadow Road.
10:35 p.m. — People were “drunk and disorderly” and yelling at each other on Haven Way.
10:44 p.m. — A driver in a Ford Ranger with a Seahawks sticker on the back was tailgating and passing illegally on Highway 525 near Bayview Road.
10:44 p.m. — A group of about 10 people were reportedly crabbing after dark.
11:39 p.m. — A man on Casey Street reported a prowler. Someone jumped the fence and was in his back yard.

Sunday, July 10
8:56 a.m. — A scruffy-looking man in his 60s stole a stack of newspapers at Payless Foods. The man paid for one but took the whole stack.
12:09 p.m. — A pug was locked inside a black Toyota Tacoma at the Mutiny Bay boat ramp and was in a panic.
12:42 p.m. — A caller complained of parking violations at Double Bluff. A woman was parked in a no-parking zone.
1:06 p.m. — A fallen tree was blocking a lane on Bob Galbreath Road.
2 p.m. — A man said his sister has property from his deceased father’s home that he wanted back. He tried to contact her but she was ignoring him.
2:28 p.m. — A driver in an older blue GMC was weaving on Highway 525.
3:47 p.m. — Someone was playing very loud music near Cultus Bay and French roads.
5:31 p.m. — A caller complained of a teenager riding an unlicensed motorbike near High Point Drive and Rollinghill Road.
5:32 p.m. — A dead deer was reported on Highway 525 near Ellwood Drive.
6:15 p.m. — A caller on Sunlight Shores Lane wanted to know about driving a vehicle without a back window.
6:24 p.m. — Someone found a needle in the ditch near Meadow Lane.
6:27 p.m. — A man on Alpha Lane reported a nuisance dog that comes on his property regularly. He has contacted the owners of the dog and they don’t seem to care.
7:31 p.m. — Someone on Timberline Road complained about smoke that was coming from a neighbor’s property.
7:59 p.m. — A driver in a red convertible sports car with the top down was swerving back and forth across Highway 525 and almost side-swiped a car coming up the hill from the ferry.
10:47 p.m. — A caller complained about a very loud live band at Freeland Hall that was keeping the caller awake.
10:50 p.m. — A large deer was in the road on Highway 525 near Classic Road.
11:47 p.m. — A man was laying in the roadway on Fish Road about 200 feet south of the highway.

12:14 p.m. — Cars were parked in the middle of the street at Harbor Sands Lane and East Harbor Road.
1:03 p.m. — A caller said a deer and several fawns were trying to cross the road on Highway 525 at Bayview Road.
1:25 p.m. — A woman on Huckleberry Lane was bit by a dog.
1:36 p.m. — A woman on Clam Walk wanted to talk to a deputy regarding multiple people continually trespassing on community property.

Wednesday, June 22
4:39 a.m. — Someone’s stepbrother was getting verbal and throwing things. Alcohol was involved.
8:18 a.m. — Someone on Smugglers Cove Road said three dogs were barking. It’s an ongoing problem.
8:54 a.m. — There was a limping dog on Bayview Road.
11:35 a.m. — A caller reported a burn on Fox Spit Road and wanted someone to check it out.
11:48 a.m. — People were living in a tent on Driftwood Way.
1:38 p.m. — A neighbor on Smugglers Cove Road reported a smoky burn and was having sinus problems.
2:16 p.m. — Trespassers were using machetes and burning debris at the beach access on Driftwood Way.
2:40 p.m. — Someone on Shady Glen Lane heard sporadic rifle shots.
7:37 p.m. — A woman said it looked like her home on Leaf Lane had been burglarized. A back door was found open.
11:41 p.m. — A large fire was reported on Fox Spit Road. A woman said she talked to the neighbors and they told her they have a permit for the fire.

Thursday, June 23
9:29 a.m. — A resident on Spyglass Drive wanted to complain about summer neighbors who constantly let their dogs walk around without using leashes. The caller wanted to put a stop to this issue now as summer has just started and the person doesn’t want to have to deal with it for the next few months.
9:57 a.m. — A caller said a suspicious woman was seen outside the Greenbank Store the night before at about 11:30 p.m. The woman was slurring and talking loudly.
10:30 a.m. — A man was stumbling in the roadway on Useless Bay Avenue and Highway 525.
11:01 a.m. — A caller said a business tenant on Storkson Drive was playing their music too loud and disturbing other businesses.

Friday, June 17
9:35 p.m. — A driver in a red Honda Odyssey hit a deer on Langley Road near Maxwelton Road.
9:58 p.m. — A woman said her car has been damaged lately with knife slashes and acid poured on it. She also saw someone watching her from on top of a hill.
10:55 p.m. — A man said his neighbor called him to tell him that juveniles were on his vacant property on Langley Road.

Saturday, June 18
12:23 a.m. —
A caller said someone ran out of gas on Mutiny Bay Road.
2:10 a.m. — A caller said people were street racing in the canyon near Humphrey Road.
11:31 a.m. — Shots from high-powered rifles were heard on Sunridge Road. The sounds were later determined to come from the Holmes Harbor Rod & Gun Club.
2:39 p.m. — A two-car accident between a driver in a red Chevy Tahoe and one in a red Ford Ranger was reported at Kramer Road and Highway 525. No one was hurt.
2:56 p.m. — Garbage and debris were scattered all over Highway 525 near Maxwelton Road.
3:32 p.m. — A black Geo Storm was reported stolen the morning before from where it was parked near Deer Lake Road and Lake Shore Drive.
3:47 p.m. — The street signs were down at Deer Lake and Heggenes roads.
4:36 p.m. — A man said he had a break up with his girlfriend and she was taking things out of the house when he wasn’t home.
10:34 p.m. — There was a large, drunken, singing crowd in front of Freeland Hall disturbing the neighborhood.
10:46 p.m. — A woman on Witter Road said there was a vehicle driving slowly down the road, then she saw a couple of people run in front of her driveway into the woods.

Sunday, June 19
1:38 a.m. — A woman was crying hysterically and said her ex-boyfriend had followed her and shined his brights at her.
12:13 p.m. — Two young calves were missing on Newman Road.
12:20 p.m. — A driver hit a deer on Highway 525 near Double Bluff Road.
1:30 p.m. — A driver in a Pontiac minivan hit a Toyota Corolla in the parking lot next to the playground in the park on Maxwelton Road.
3:08 p.m. — A caller witnessed a police chase near Bailey and Scatchet Head roads and said the police might need backup. A sheriff’s deputy was chasing a maroon sports car, and the caller said the driver of the sports car was hiding in the Scatchet Head area.
9:42 p.m. — A driver hit a deer on Highway 525 near Classic Road.

Monday, June 20
9:33 a.m. — A caller said someone went to a Freeland clinic, posed as the caller and got narcotics.
10:52 a.m. — A caller on Pioneer Park Place wanted to talk about the removal of two abandoned boats.
10:54 a.m. — A pit bull with a blue collar was running loose in the neighborhood on Nightfall Lane.
11:49 a.m. — A Greenbank caller wanted to know how to get a permit for a fireworks show.
1:15 p.m. — A woman needed information on tracing harassing phone calls.
7:41 p.m. — Someone on April Drive left a dog locked outside in a kennel for two days, and the dog was howling.
9:19 p.m. — Two aggressive stray dogs were reported on White Deer Lane.
10:09 p.m. — A caller said neighbors on Humphrey Road were beating each other with bats and one was bleeding.

Tuesday, June 21
9:51 a.m. — A driver in a tan Jeep was being reckless and tailgating on Highway 525 near Howard Road.
11:35 a.m. — Seven dogs were running loose on Neely Road.
3:52 p.m. — A man reported fraudulent use of his debit card in Florida.
2:28 p.m. — A woman said two dogs attacked the family’s pet chickens on Silver Cloud Lane, and they may have to euthanize a chicken.

4:57 p.m. — A couch was dumped on Saratoga Road near Fox Spit Road. Wood was also left behind.
7:33 p.m. — A woman on Houston Road said two men just mowed her lawn again and they don’t have permission.
8:16 p.m. — A caller said a neighbor’s two horses were in the easement on the caller’s driveway.
11:22 p.m. — A man was laying in the road on Humphrey Road.

Thursday, June 16
9:33 a.m. —
Possible illegal dumping was reported near a self-storage place on Highway 525.
3:15 p.m. — A woman said an ex-boyfriend was writing inappropriate things about her and her new boyfriend on Facebook and also posting pictures.
3:29 p.m. — A caller at the Goose said a customer brought in a dog that was not a service dog. The customer then told the caller to “meet him outside so he could educate him.” The customer was described as “very upfront and confrontational.”
3:48 p.m. — A man said his father had $1,200 missing from his wallet and his massage chair.
4:48 p.m. — A person on Scatchet View Drive called to report a lost phone. It was stolen back in 2009 in Spain, but the caller was now getting collection calls for charges that have occurred over the last few years.
5:05 p.m. — A caller wanted to ask what could be done about someone who was invited to stay at a home but now is unwelcome.
5:58 p.m. — A man’s mail was found in a bathroom stall at the Freeland Library, and it appeared to have been tampered with.
7:18 p.m. — A woman at a Freeland restaurant was having vision and memory problems, and said she got a concussion after falling off a horse a few days earlier.
11:50 p.m. — A man hit a deer while driving on Highway 525 near Pacific Dogwood Drive.

Friday, June 17
5:49 a.m. — A caller said a man who looked “highly intoxicated” was pumping gas into a blue Dodge Dakota at the Short Stop in Freeland.
9:14 a.m. — A resident on Hawaii Lane wanted to talk about loose dogs.
9:40 a.m. — A backpack was found along the roadway and someone hung it up on a post on Owl Lane.
10:26 a.m. — There was a noise complaint involving a tenant and a landlord on Storkson Drive.
10:39 a.m. — Dogs were on the loose and barking on Sunlight Shores Lane. It’s an ongoing problem.
10:41 a.m. — Two men were arguing near the stoplight at the Clinton Ferry Terminal. The caller couldn’t actually see what was going on, but could hear it.
10:51 a.m. — An injured deer was reported on Smugglers Cove Road near Bush Point Road.

1:43 p.m. — A driver in a tan Toyota minivan was crossing both lines on Highway 525 near Langley Road.
4:43 p.m. — Yard ornaments were stolen from a property on Fire Weed Place.
8:01 p.m. — A woman said someone was cutting down trees on Ralph Road.

Sunday, June 12
10:27 a.m. — A man said his renter moved out of a residence on Wahl Road and completely stripped the place.
2:49 p.m. — A motorboat was reported on Lone Lake.
3:29 p.m. — A disabled tan pickup was blocking Highway 525 near Christenson Road.
5:04 p.m. — A man on Heggenes Road said his mailboxes were stolen overnight.
6:55 p.m. — A caller said it sounded like someone was inside the back of the post office in Clinton.
7:31 p.m. — A caller reported a man who appeared intoxicated stumbling toward the bathroom at the Goose grocery.
7:44 p.m. — Somebody was trespassing on the church property on Newman Road.
8:50 p.m. — A driver went into the ditch on Campbell Road between Maxwelton and Cultus Bay roads.

Monday, June 13
6:52 a.m. — A woman on Mortland Drive reported a strange man in the neighborhood. The caller was concerned he may have tried to get into her house.
11:53 a.m. — A caller said someone in a white Chevy van was driving recklessly and running people off the road near Deer Lake Road and Highway 525.
1:23 p.m. — A caller wanted extra patrols at the high school from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m., in anticipation of a senior prank.
1:56 p.m. — A caller complained about a man in a vacant lot near Watkins Road and Twin Oaks Lane who had a fire going that had flames about 4 or 5 feet high, and was near trees with a house next door.
3:58 p.m. — A caller wanted to talk to authorities about parking during big events on Freeland Avenue.
4:35 p.m. — A caller on White Deer Lane wanted to talk about barking dogs in the neighborhood.
4:47 p.m. — A tree was hanging low over the road on Bush Point Road.
5:14 p.m. — People were lighting fireworks on a dirt road off Dines Point Road. Bottle rockets were being heard.
10:45 p.m. — A loud party was reported on Hodges Avenue.
11:31 p.m. — A possible DUI driver in a light-colored Ford Escort was reported on Highway 525 near Double Bluff Road.
11:35 p.m. — A possible DUI driver was reported in the 21000 block of Highway 525.

Tuesday, June 14
8:49 a.m. — A caller complained about a young man on a motorcycle who speeds by very fast in a posted
35 mph zone near Holst Road at 3:20 p.m. every day.
8:53 a.m. — A woman on Heggenes Road said her mailbox was removed and put somewhere else. It’s been an ongoing problem.
2:29 p.m. — A caller complained about a smoky burn pile near Old Beach and Shore Meadow roads, and wanted someone to check on it.
4:25 p.m. — A woman wanted to know if it was legal to own pepper spray, and if so, where to get it.
6:22 p.m. — A caller on Houston Road said two men were mowing the lawn on the caller’s easement, and wouldn’t stop mowing when they were asked.
7:18 p.m. — A caller wanted to find out about homeless shelters on South Whidbey.
7:49 p.m. — A woman on Houston Road had her horses tied up to a tree next to the caller’s property, and the horses were eating the caller’s plants.
10:27 p.m. — A man on Upper Harbor Drive called and asked why a deputy had pulled into his driveway. He wanted to know if there were any problems he needs to be aware of.

Wednesday, June 15
10:07 a.m. — A woman said a 13-year-old punched her son at the bus stop. There have been ongoing problems with the teenager.
10:17 a.m. — An elderly man with a hat was speeding on Highway 525 near Classic Road. The caller said there was a Mariners sticker on the bumper.
11:24 a.m. — A caller said a driver in a white Dodge van passed the caller the night before, at about
9:30 p.m. on Bayview Road, without using his blinker. The driver also had a rear brake light out.
11:33 a.m. — A caller at the Chase Bank branch on Main Street reported a customer inside the bank who was tazed last month and issued a no trespass order. The customer was not being disorderly right then.
12:09 p.m. — A road rage incident involving a female driver was reported on Langley Road near Maxwelton Road.
1:24 p.m. — A person on Dolphin Drive wanted to make a report for identity theft but became very rude and started screaming at the call taker.
4:43 p.m. — A Fish Road resident had questions about his son having friends over to the house who were not leaving.

Friday, June 10
5:56 a.m. — An employee at a coffee stand on Langley Road mistakenly hit the panic button alarm.
10:31 a.m. — Someone  may be stealing cut trees on North Bluff Road. The trees were taken down so lines could be placed, but they were missing the next morning.
12:43 p.m. — Malicious mischief was reported at a property on Saratoga Ridge Road.
3:55 p.m. —A woman reported a rear-end crash on Highway 525 near ProBuild. The other driver had already left the scene.
6:19 p.m. — A caller reported finding a suspicious brown powdery substance in a plastic bag on Houston Road.
7:44 p.m. —A man said he was unable to move his 17-foot boat at the dock at the Beach Fire Grill, but promised to return the next day to remove it.
9:35 p.m. — Residents on Sandy Hook Drive said someone drove through their yard and damaged their flower beds.

8:44 a.m. — A 19-foot white fishing boat was drifting in the water off Seacrest Lane.
10:58 a.m. — Two young girls in a white Jeep Wrangler were driving recklessly on Pirate Lane near Fish Road. The caller told them to slow down, but they sped away at a very high rate of speed.
11:21 a.m. — A caller on Sunlight Drive who was moving in said a neighbor just came over and made threats to shut up the caller’s dogs.
1:37 p.m. — A man said he thought he left his wallet in a patrol car the night before.
6:19 p.m. — Horses were reportedly being mistreated on Freeland Avenue.

Monday, June 6
2:23 a.m. — A caller on Beachview Drive could hear someone calling for help from the beach.
4:35 a.m. — An Island Transit bus driver hit a deer near Ledgewood Beach Road and Highway 525.
6:19 a.m. — Two horses were loose on Bayview Road near Andreason Road.
6:26 a.m. — A man on Langley Road wanted to talk about an abandoned semi-truck trailer that had been left on his rental property.
9:17 a.m. — A woman on Pirate Lane said a white jeep came up her driveway, and then turned around and sped away. Two college-aged girls were inside the vehicle.
10:24 a.m. — A driver in a light green Ford sedan was tailgating on Highway 525 near Double Bluff Road.
10:37 a.m. — Barking dogs were reported on Saratoga Road.

7:39 a.m. — A two-car accident was reported at the ferry dock in Clinton. One driver may have been drinking.
8:46 a.m. — A suspicious reddish Chevy minivan was reported near Fish Road.
9:22 a.m. — A woman said she saw a cougar near Xanadu Lane.
11 a.m. — A caller said a driver in a small, aqua-colored Chevy pickup truck tried to run the caller off the road on Bayview Road.
11:52 a.m. — A dog attacked a deer on the beach near Shore Avenue. The deer got up and ran away, but the caller still had the dog.
1:42 p.m. — A woman on Newman Road wanted to know what she could do about coyotes on her land.
3:22 p.m. — A caller reported a conversation with a man claiming to be associated with steakandseafood.com and wanted to know if the person was legit. The person was described as being in his 20s, in a ball cap and jeans and driving a Toyota truck.
4:45 p.m. — A driver in a black Ford Mustang was driving erratically in the parking lot of a gas station on Highway 525 in Freeland.
6:03 p.m. — Two dogs were fighting on Morning Glory Lane and a man said the owner of the animals was trying to break it up.
9:49 p.m. — A 24-year-old pregnant woman was having a seizure and had numbness in her hands.
10:24 p.m. — A possible DUI driver in a blue or teal station wagon was reported near Highway 525 and Langley Road.

Thursday, June 2
10:18 a.m. — A vehicle was overheating on Highway 525 near Houston Road.
10:21 a.m. — A deer was flailing in the roadway near Hilltop Drive and Holst Road and was dispatched by police.
1:14 p.m. — A caller on Bounty Loop said people in a white van were trying to sell vacuum cleaners.
1:40 p.m. — A driver in a small silver car was tailgating on Highway 525.
