Monday, Dec. 28
8:04 a.m. — A stop sign was down on Smugglers Cove Road near Highway 525.
8:41 a.m. — A woman locked herself out of her house on Beachmont Drive and said she was very cold.
10:59 a.m. — A caller heard name-calling at a nearby home, things being thrown, and then, “I’ll kill you.”
2:16 p.m. — A woman in Freeland wanted to talk about the traffic citation issued to her daughter.
4:21 p.m. — A vehicle received rear-end damage in an accident reported at China City.
6:30 p.m. — A car was disabled in the middle of the roadway on Amble Road near Saratoga Road.
6:30 p.m. — A woman in an accident on Highway 525 and Langley Road said she might have whiplash.
7:12 p.m. — A caller said a barking dog on Dorsey Drive has been a problem for five years.
Tuesday, Dec. 29
10:22 a.m. — An injured deer was in the road on Highway 525 just north of Double Bluff.
10:37 a.m. — A woman said a neighbor’s car on Violet Street was hit by someone overnight.
11:15 a.m. — A man said a deer with a broken leg was on his property on Day Road.
5:34 p.m. — A caller said a man in a dark car crossed the road and hit two mailboxes on Harbor Sands Lane, went into the ditch but then continued down the road eastbound.
6:08 p.m. — A woman on Xanadu Lane said she found stray cows on her property.
Wednesday, Dec. 30
1:10 a.m. — A caller reported a teenage girl walking near Morningside and Eveningside lanes, and all the mailboxes were open and mail was blowing all over the road.
9:06 a.m. — A group of duck hunters was reported on Cultus Bay Road near the entrance to the Sandy Hook neighborhood.
11:25 a.m. — A woman said her purse was stolen from her car on Stewart Road.
11:34 a.m. — A possible DUI driver in a blue Mazda near the Greenbank store was driving south on Highway 525.
1:46 p.m. — A woman said her neighbor cut down some of her trees and never paid for them, breaking an agreement for $1,000 worth of trees.
4:08 p.m. — A man on Lynne Drive said his vehicle was broken into during the night.
Thursday, Dec. 31
12:49 a.m. — The State Patrol arrested a DUI driver on Highway 525 and Mutiny Bay Road, and requested a deputy to take the passenger home.
3:59 a.m. — A white, 1997 Mercedes Benz C230 with the front bumper missing was reported stolen on Wilson Place.
8:02 a.m. — A caller on Lakeside Drive could hear a dog barking from across Goss Lake.
11 a.m. — A blue Ford Taurus was being driven recklessly on Highway 525 near Surface Road.
12:11 p.m. — A caller said his vehicle was not stolen; his roommate borrowed it.
1:51 p.m. — A caller said someone almost caused a crash in a Freeland parking lot, then walked into a store.
2:58 p.m. — A white Ford Ranger pickup was all over the roadway on Highway 525 near Useless Bay Road.
7:05 p.m. — A woman was bitten by her dog.
8:06 p.m. — Illegal fireworks were reported on Timber Lane.
Friday, Jan. 1
12:23 a.m. — Residents on Deer Lake Road said they had a horse that broke loose penned up in their pasture. It was described as a Chestnut horse with a white patch on its forehead, and was wearing a green blanket.
12:37 a.m. — Teenagers on Sealawn Boulevard were lighting fireworks and neighbors weren’t happy.
4:27 a.m. — A woman said she was stranded at the intersection of Fidalgo and Lopez drives, and needed to get home to her child.
5:20 a.m. — A possible DUI driver in a small, hatchback-type car was reported on Highway 525.
11:21 a.m. — A tree was blocking one lane of Coles Road near the Langley wastewater treatment plant.
