<strong>6:39 a.m. —</strong> A non-injury car accident involving a Chevrolet pickup was reported at Bush Point Road and Shipping View Drive.<br />
<strong>8:58 a.m. —</strong> A fallen tree was blocking Brainers Road near Amble Road.<br />
<strong>9:29 a.m.—</strong> A woman said she got her 2003 Saturn stuck on Pintail Road.<br />
<strong>10 a.m. —</strong> A man said his neighbors were harassing him by talking to him through his television with a radio.<br />
<strong>10:33 a.m. —</strong> A Dodge truck was stuck sideways in the middle of Highway 525 up from the ferry dock.<br />
<strong>10:45 a.m. —</strong> Two cars and two trucks were left parked in the roadway near Hi Crest Road and Island Way.<br />
<strong>11:07 a.m. —</strong> A semi-trailer truck was blocking the southbound lane on Maine Street and East Harbor Road.<br />
<strong>1:24 p.m. —</strong> A non-injury accident was reported at East Harbor Road and Vinton Avenue.<br />
<strong>1:50 p.m.—</strong> A tree toppled into power lines and across the road on Campbell Road near Maxwelton Road.<br />
<strong>2:27 p.m. —</strong> A woman on Humphrey Road said a man came to her door and then knocked on her window and asked if he could come in, and she said no.<br />
<strong>2:57 p.m. —</strong> A 1-foot-thick toppled tree was across both lanes on Lone Lake Road south of Saratoga Road.<br />
<strong>4:05 p.m. —</strong> A driver hit fallen power lines on Highway 525 near Resort Road and went off the roadway.<br />
<strong>4:50 p.m. —</strong> A caller said someone on a snowmobile was going very fast on Humphrey Road.<br />
<strong>6:55 p.m. —</strong> A caller said a man he believes was drunk drove his truck into his car on Sunlight Drive, then took off on Bayview Road.<br />
<strong>7:18 p.m. —</strong> A man wanted to talk to someone about all the cars parked at the bottom of the hill to the entrance of his development.<br />
<strong>10:10 p.m. —</strong> A caller at a Valero on Highway 525 said a friend was intoxicated and acting belligerently toward people, and was hallucinating that people were going to kill him. The friend ran away from the gas station an hour earlier, but the caller didn&#8217;t see which way.<br />
<strong>11:44 p.m. —</strong> A caller wanted police to check on a hitchhiker holding up a sign alongside Highway 525 just north of Greenbank Farm.<br />
<strong>11:44 p.m. —</strong> A vehicle prowl was reported on Howard Road.</p>
<p><strong>Friday, Jan. 20</strong><br />
<strong>4:07 a.m. —</strong> A driver in a Ford Ranger pickup spun out at Sills and Maxwelton roads, and was kind of sideways, and could not go forward or backward.<br />
<strong>4:15 a.m. —</strong> A caller on Cultus Bay Road reported a loud explosion sound from the south.<br />
<strong>8:51 a.m. —</strong> A fallen tree was blocking Coles Road.<br />
<strong>9:47 a.m. —</strong> An overnight burglary was reported at Gemkow Construction on Howard Road.<br />
<strong>10:55 a.m. —</strong> Juveniles on an ATV were driving very fast and reckless near Steelhead Drive and Salmon Street, and also weren&#8217;t wearing helmets.<br />
<strong>11:11 a.m. —</strong> A caller said a group of drivers parked and abandoned their vehicles on Bayview Road near Hi Crest Road, and some of the drivers may have lost control and bumped into other vehicles that had been left there.<br />
<strong>11:39 a.m. —</strong> A semi-truck driver said he had to park temporarily in Scatchet Head, and wanted to call in anticipation of possible complaint calls.<br />
<strong>12:19 p.m. —</strong> A woman said her Nissan was stuck in the middle of Fox Spit Road near Saratoga Road.<br />
<strong>12:52 p.m. —</strong> Guys on motorbikes were tearing up the turf at the Useless Bay Golf and Country Club.</p>

<strong>10:57 p.m. —</strong> A Ford pickup was in the ditch on Spinnaker Drive.<br />
<strong>11:51 p.m. —</strong> A possible DUI driver in a pickup was reported on Highway 525 near Resort Road. The caller said the driver was having trouble staying in one lane and was going 10 mph slower than the limit.<br />

<p><strong>Wednesday, Jan. 4</strong><br />
<strong>1:16 p.m. —</strong> A caller on Whidbey Drive complained about a man who was selling window and door replacements.<br />
<strong>1:19 p.m. —</strong> A caller reported two men in a suspicious vehicle parked on Adams Road. The caller asked them what they were up to and they said they were just talking.<br />
<strong>2:45 p.m. —</strong> Someone dumped a five-gallon drum and paint and oil cans on the side of the road on Smugglers Cove Road.<br />
<strong>4 p.m. —</strong> A purse was reported stolen at China City; the item was taken Dec. 31.<br />
<strong>4:21 p.m. —</strong> A renter on Smugglers Cove Road said the landlord walked into the home without knocking, and said that he did not know that the caller was home.<br />
<strong>9:26 p.m. —</strong> A caller said someone was parked at the end of Kramer Road and was playing loud music.</p>
<p><strong>Thursday, Jan. 5</strong><br />
<strong>9:24 a.m. —</strong> A student’s pickup was leaking gas in the parking lot at the high school.<br />
<strong>11:44 a.m. —</strong> A woman found a Chihuahua-like dog running loose on Bayview Road near Andreason Road and wanted to know what she should do with the animal.<br />
<strong>1:15 p.m. —</strong> A woman on Marine View Drive said she received a threatening email from a neighbor’s family member.<br />
<strong>2:05 p.m. —</strong> A resident on Eagle Bluff Road said men came to the door attempting to interest the resident in a carpet-cleaning service. The caller was concerned that they just wanted to get inside.<br />
<strong>3 p.m. —</strong> Two Rottweilers were running loose on Big Harvs Lane.<br />
<strong>3:57 p.m. —</strong> Security lights were broken out at a home on East Harbor Road.<br />
<strong>4 p.m. —</strong> A caller had video of a vandal at the Whidbey Telecom maintenance yard.<br />
<strong>4:25 p.m. —</strong> A woman at a property on Highway 525 said a Rottweiler just killed several of her chickens.<br />
<strong>4:37 p.m. —</strong> A woman on Humphrey Road said Glendale Creek was overflowing and was endangering her property’s embankment.<br />
<strong>5:41 p.m. —</strong> A woman said she was driving her boyfriend’s truck and was just ran off the road. She said she walked home. She could not give a description of the other vehicle or where exactly the accident happened.<br />
<strong>5:56 p.m. —</strong> A caller said a driver in a black Mercedes was driving on Highway 525 without headlights.<br />
<strong>6:02 p.m. —</strong> A man said a white moving van pulled up across the street on Sun Vista Circle and the hazard lights were on. When the caller turned on his outside lights, the vehicle left the area at a high rate of speed.<br />
<strong>7:16 p.m. —</strong> A caller said someone in a suspicious sedan was driving around the neighborhood on Sunlight Drive. The caller thought someone might be casing the area.</p>
<p><strong>Friday, Jan. 6</strong><br />
<strong>5:07 a.m. —</strong> Someone at the Short Stop said a woman had been waiting out front for a ride since 4 a.m., and was now laying down.</p>

<strong>1:51 a.m. —</strong> A caller said someone with a flashlight was walking around inside a vacant home on Topaz Court.<br />
<strong>3:47 a.m. —</strong> A woman who was partying at a home on Sunlight Drive was starting to break things in the home.<br />
<strong>9:41 a.m. —</strong> A woman on Hilltop Drive said her tires were slashed the previous night.<br />
<strong>9:50 a.m. —</strong> A man said a neighbor’s dog was getting into his yard on Hansen Drive. The dog knocks over the trash cans and uses the yard as a bathroom. The caller said he has had verbal confrontations with the dog’s owners on multiple occasions but it keeps happening.<br />
<strong>10:06 a.m. —</strong> A woman on Hansen Drive said her roommate’s wiener dog was on her neighbor’s porch this morning and now it was missing.<br />
<strong>5:49 p.m. —</strong> A woman on Puget Drive said her husband just climbed up a tree and a neighbor yelled to call 911.<br />
<strong>10:33 p.m. —</strong> A person tried to steal beer from a business on Highway 525, but the employee got it back. The would-be thief shoved the employee and ran out the door.<br />

<strong>7:51 a.m. —</strong> A driver hit a deer on Highway 525 near Donahey Road.<br />
<strong>8:05 a.m. —</strong> A caller reported a fire on Kevin Court.<br />
<strong>10:37 a.m. —</strong> A man on Smugglers Cove Road said his landlord has been verbally abusive so he gave notice that he wanted to move out. The landlord was now threatening to increase the rent.<br />
<strong>10:57 a.m. —</strong> A truck driver was losing his load along Cultus Bay Road.<br />
<strong>4:34 p.m. —</strong> A verbal dispute was escalating; a 911 operator could hear a woman yelling something about rape in the background and the caller started shouting that she is a whore.<br />
<strong>5:58 p.m. —</strong> A caller said a neighbor came over and starting yelling about the USA. The caller said she was wet up to her knees.<br />
<strong>7:08 p.m. —</strong> A tree was across the roadway on Glendale Road near Roseberry Street.<br />

<strong>12:41 p.m. —</strong> A suspicious-looking man with a knapsack was seen standing on the side of the road on Bercot Road. He later joined another person and was seen going to a nearby trailer home that was thought to be vacant.<br />
<strong>1:56 p.m. —</strong> A caller complained about someone on Pirate Lane burning tree limbs. The caller said it was windy and homes were 10 feet away.<br />
<strong>3:36 p.m. —</strong> A woman said a company possibly could be running a scam because they charged her credit card for a vacation before she agreed to anything, and she couldn’t reach a supervisor to talk about a refund.<br />
<strong>4:22 p.m. —</strong> A caller said someone came onto a property on Old County Road and opened all the gates and the llamas got out.<br />
<strong>4:38 p.m. —</strong> A driver hit a deer on Highway 525 near Double Bluff Road.<br />
<strong>7:02 p.m. —</strong> A caller said a 23-year-old woman was abusing her child.<br />
<strong>7:10 p.m. —</strong> A driver on Highway 525 near Langley Road almost hit a man in dark clothing who jumped out in front of the caller’s car.<br />
<strong>7:19 p.m. —</strong> A man who appeared to have been drinking was sitting at the side of the road at Honeymoon Bay Road and Hickory Way.<br />
<strong>8:05 p.m. —</strong> A 19-year-old woman was hitting herself and her mom and breaking things.<br />
<strong>10:19 p.m. —</strong> A caller on Sunlight Drive wanted information on community policing in the area due to the recent burglaries.</p>

<strong>9:30 a.m. —</strong> The man who had been causing problems in the early morning hours on Myra Place was back and making more trouble.<br />
<strong>9:37 a.m. —</strong> A vehicle was off the road on Saratoga Road near Fox Spit Road. The caller said the driver’s door was caved in and the airbag was deployed. No one was around, however.<br />
<strong>11:09 a.m. —</strong> A large truck transporting a modular home was leaving a trail of pink insulation on Highway 525 near Houston Road.<br />
<strong>12:37 p.m. —</strong> A man was taking pictures of homes near Upper Harbor Drive.<br />
<strong>12:52 p.m. —</strong> Signs were stolen from a property on Crawford Road.<br />
<strong>9:15 p.m. —</strong> A man on Alderwood Street said his home was burglarized; jewelry and other items were taken.</p>
<p><strong>Sunday, Dec. 25</strong><br />
<strong>10:06 a.m. —</strong> A tree branch fell into the power lines on Sanna Wind Way and was on fire.<br />
<strong>10:50 a.m. —</strong> A tree hit the power lines and was on fire on Classic Road.<br />
<strong>11:37 a.m. —</strong> A tree branch hit power lines and was burning on Langley Road.</p>
<p><strong>Monday, Dec. 26</strong><br />
<strong>1:53 p.m. —</strong> A man said three or four kids on dirt bikes were being noisy on Wildes Road. The man said he can’t hear others in his house because of the noise.<br />
<strong>4:55 p.m. —</strong> A caller complained about a driver in a gold or silver Honda Oydssey minivan who was braking erratically and driving very slow on Highway 525 near Donahey Road.<br />
<strong>6:37 p.m. —</strong> A driver reported another driver who almost caused an accident on Highway 525 near Scott Road.<br />
<strong>6:51 p.m. —</strong> A tree was blocking the roadway on East Harbor Road.<br />
<strong>9:11 p.m. —</strong> A suspected shoplifter who was kicked out of the Goose grocery has been hanging around the parking lot for almost an hour.<br />
<strong>9:21 p.m. —</strong> A possible DUI driver was reported at the Goose. The man smelled of intoxicants, was very loud and had slurred speech. He was advised not to drive.<br />
<strong>11:42 p.m. —</strong> A man said someone got inside his house on Harbor Avenue and stole multiple items. A window was ajar, and there was no sign of forced entry.<br />
<strong>11:48 p.m. —</strong> A woman said she got a text message from her sister that said “that she is really sad and that her kids get taken care of well.”</p>
<p><strong>Tuesday, Dec. 27</strong><br />
<strong>5:20 a.m. —</strong> A man on Zig Zag Lane said his alarm just went off and somebody was probably trying to get into the garage. He said he armed himself with a night stick.<br />
<strong>11:20 a.m. —</strong> A caller said people were removing planks in a fence and could be seen on a property on Wilkinson Road.<br />
<strong>4:23 p.m. —</strong> A woman on Wilson Place saw a family of three raccoons in her backyard, and wanted to know if it was legal to kill or poison them.<br />
<strong>4:48 p.m. —</strong> A man was heard screaming and yelling on Fish Road.<br />
<strong>5:09 p.m. —</strong> A pickup truck went into the ditch at Smugglers Cove Road and Cardinal Way.<br />
<strong>5:39 p.m. —</strong> A deer was in the ditch at East Harbor Road and Asher Lane.<br />
<strong>5:42 p.m. —</strong> Cash was reported missing from a register at the Freeland Library.<br />
<strong>6:29 p.m. —</strong> A driver hit another vehicle in the parking lot at Payless Foods.<br />

<strong>11:52 a.m. —</strong> A man on Lagoon Point Road reported a deceased deer that had been shot in his front yard.<br />

<strong>5:19 p.m. —</strong> A man said his family was threatened by the father of his daughter’s friend, and said that if anything happened to his daughter while she was with the caller’s daughter that he would kill her family.<br />
<strong>8:19 p.m. —</strong> A caller said a driver in a blue Ford Escort was not staying in one lane on Highway 525 near Kramer Road.<br />

<strong>10:17 p.m. —</strong> A woman said her dog was dead and asked dispatchers if they do anything with dogs. She found another number to call and then hung up.<br />

<strong>12:11 p.m. —</strong> A non-injury accident was reported in the parking lot at Payless Foods.<br />
<strong>12:52 p.m. —</strong> A residential burglary was reported on Bayview Road. Several items were stolen overnight, including a mini motorcycle that was taken out of a garage. The thief got in through a sliding glass door.<br />

<strong>1:16 p.m.</strong> — A dog was constantly barking on Skye Place.<br />
<strong>1:16 p.m. —</strong> A driver on Spyglass Drive was parked in a handicap space and blocked by another vehicle. The driver had words with the other driver, who then parked in the handicap space after the first driver left. The caller said the driver did not have the proper decal.<br />

<strong>1:49 a.m. — </strong>Three or four teenagers were riding scooters up and down the street near Hi Crest Road and Island Way, and the caller said if they are on scooters, she believes they stole them from her.<br />
<strong>8:13 a.m. —</strong> A goose on Spearview Place was wrapped up in fishing line. The goose was nearly dead and couldn’t eat with the line around its neck.<br />
<strong>9:39 a.m. —</strong> A dead deer was in the middle of Sills Road.<br />
<strong>2:32 p.m. —</strong> A possible DUI driver in a Subaru was all over the road on Highway 525 near Wonn Road and nearly hit a guard rail.<br />
<strong>3:10 p.m. —</strong> A man said his former home was being listed for rent. He said he was prohibited from going there and had concerns that his property that was still there was going to be destroyed.<br />
<strong>4:12 p.m. —</strong> An 11-year-old called 911 on the old dial telephone inside the Bayview Cash Store, and didn’t know the phone still worked.<br />
<strong>4:37 p.m. —</strong> A woman said her neighbor’s dog had been in her yard on Fish Road again the previous night.<br />
<strong>4:39 p.m. —</strong> Three dogs were loose on Highway 525 headed toward Freeland.<br />
<strong>4:40 p.m. —</strong> A woman on Midvale Road said her neighbor was harassing her by hanging over the fence and making threats to assault her.<br />

<strong>11:10 a.m. —</strong> A man was yelling at someone who was sitting at a bus stop on Storkson Drive.<br />
<strong>11:52 a.m. —</strong> A woman said she found the doors unlocked at her friend’s home on Myrtle Avenue. She said the owner had passed away the previous week.<br />
<strong>12:27 p.m. —</strong> A woman on Blakely Avenue said a man with a ponytail came by her home claiming to be a Kirby vacuum salesman but he didn’t have a vacuum cleaner or a vehicle. The caller was concerned because he was asking a lot of personal questions.<br />
<strong>1:13 p.m. —</strong> Two dogs jumped out of a red Dodge Dakota truck on Highway 525 near Langley Road.<br />

<strong>11:35 a.m. —</strong> A caller said a neighbor collapsed in her yard on White Deer Lane and was going to see if she was OK.<br />
<strong>11:58 a.m. —</strong> A car was rolled over and in the ditch on Classic Road about 10 feet away from Highway 525.<br />

<strong>4:48 p.m. —</strong> A person on Scatchet View Drive called to report a lost phone. It was stolen back in 2009 in Spain, but the caller was now getting collection calls for charges that have occurred over the last few years.<br />
<strong>5:05 p.m. —</strong> A caller wanted to ask what could be done about someone who was invited to stay at a home but now is unwelcome.<br />
<strong>5:58 p.m. — </strong>A man’s mail was found in a bathroom stall at the Freeland Library, and it appeared to have been tampered with.<br />

<strong>4:25 p.m. —</strong> A woman wanted to know if it was legal to own pepper spray, and if so, where to get it.<br />
<strong>6:22 p.m. — </strong>A caller on Houston Road said two men were mowing the lawn on the caller’s easement, and wouldn’t stop mowing when they were asked.<br />

<strong>1:14 p.m. — </strong>A caller on Bounty Loop said people in a white van were trying to sell vacuum cleaners.<br />
