Sunday, Nov. 29
1:50 a.m. — A fight was reported in the parking lot at China City.
2:44 a.m. — An assault was reported at a gas station on Highway 525.
10:12 a.m. — A caller said his roommate was stealing gas out of his garage.
12:42 p.m. — A woman said she moved out of her mother’s home two weeks ago after her mother threw her out and chased her with a butcher knife. She wanted help retrieving her belongings.
3:21 p.m. — Illegal dumping was reported near Hansen Drive. A couch was found in a ravine.
3:53 p.m. — A caller said tools and other items were stolen in a burglary on Maxwelton Road.
5:06 p.m. — A caller said someone in a Jeep pulled onto a property on McDonald Drive and tried to dump garbage.
8:32 p.m. — A vehicle was in the ditch near Deer Lake and Holst roads. A man was seen running down Deer Lake Road, fleeing the scene.
9:49 p.m. — A man and woman were fighting on Wilson Place.
Monday, Nov. 30
3:57 a.m. — A woman said her boyfriend had been drinking and was kicking a dog.
11:22 a.m. — A man was panhandling on Main Street in Freeland.
2:06 p.m. — A caller wanted a welfare check on an elderly man who was sitting in a wheelchair in the rain at the dog park on Bayview Road.
2:42 p.m. — A rear-end collision was reported on Highway 525 at Ken’s Korner.
4:43 p.m. — A caller said people in a silver-and-gray van with the windows all fogged up were trespassing on Resort Road.
4:55 p.m. — A woman said a driver in a white station wagon was tailgating on Highway 525 near Crawford Road and almost hit her.
9:38 p.m. — A possible DUI driver in a truck was crossing the center line on Highway 525. The driver turned onto Main Street in Freeland.
10:05 p.m. — Some suspicious people wearing headlights were pushing something heavy in a wheelbarrow along Columbia Beach.
Tuesday, Dec. 1
8:24 a.m. — A woman said a driver in a white van cut her off on Highway 525, and she followed the vehicle to Ken’s Korner.
10:38 a.m. — A man on Zig Zag Lane said he could see a fire in the woods behind his house.
11 a.m. — A caller complained about a vehicle that had been loaned to an ex-girlfriend but not returned.
12:40 p.m. — A caller said dogs on Heather Drive have been barking nearly all day.
12:46 p.m. — A man on Cranes Landing Drive said he could see a buck in his side yard with a broken left front leg, and also a female deer with a baby.
12:57 p.m. — A caller said a suspicious man was sitting inside her sister’s vegetable stand on Saratoga Road.
2:38 p.m. — A caller on East Harbor Road saw a boat go by with duck hunters in it. The caller said it was obvious they were looking for ducks to shoot, and wanted to know if it was legal.
3:26 p.m. — A woman said her 1997 silver Acura Integra was stolen on Woodard Avenue.
3:29 p.m. — A vehicle was broken into while it was parked in the pullout for the walking trails just north of Highway 525 and Smugglers Cove Road.
3:38 p.m. — A man said a dog barked at him and approached him in an unfriendly manner on Heather Drive.
4:12 p.m. — Two people on dirt bikes were trespassing on a property on Old Pietila Road.
4:48 p.m. — A caller said his brother was missing. He went for a walk about 11 a.m. and had not come back.
5:38 p.m. — A woman on Wilkinson Road said a strange man just came and knocked on her door. The house is in a remote location, she said, and she had no idea how he got to the door.
5:47 p.m. — A caller said a neighbor’s front door was open.
6:05 p.m. — A Geo Prism went off the road and was stuck in the ditch on Highway 525 near the Goose grocery.
