Looks like someone had a real “Dude, where’s my car?” moment Thursday night. But worse.
Thursday, July 30
8:46 a.m. — A Useless Bay man said two other men were at his house trying to attack him. He said they accused him of being a thief.
9:53 a.m. — A caller said a large section of the cliff at Double Bluff gave way, and the caller was worried about people walking near the unstable area of the bluff.
1:40 p.m. — A caller complained of being tailgated on Highway 525 near Fish Road by a person in a blue 1996 Honda Civic.
3:52 p.m. — A woman said her neighbor has been throwing dead rabbits and birds over her fence. She thinks it’s in retaliation for squirting the neighbor’s dog with a hose when it was barking.
6:53 p.m. — A man was having trouble finding a property he owns on South Whidbey. He said he didn’t know what road the property was on, and hadn’t visited it in about two years.
6:57 p.m. — Juveniles were drinking at Goss Lake.
7:28 p.m. — A 14-foot sailboat was overturned and two people were in the water about 200 yards offshore near Cranes Landing Drive.
9:39 p.m. — A possible DUI driver was swerving and crossing the center line on Highway 525 near Double Bluff Road.
10:42 p.m. — Loud music was heard on Helena Street.
Friday, July 31
12:47 a.m. — A caller said his brother fell off a cliff on Willow Pond Lane.
12:51 a.m. — A caller on Humphrey Road said two men were in an elderly neighbor’s driveway with flashlights, talking about the parts on a John Deere.
