Saturday, July 3
4:16 p.m. — Someone on Maxwelton Road was firing a black-powder cannon.
5:12 p.m. — A dead deer was reported on Fish Road.
5:27 p.m. — A caller said juveniles were lighting M-1,000s on Bercot Road.
6:28 p.m. — A mail box was stolen on Staats Drive.
6:35 p.m. — A woman on Wahl Road said kids were trespassing on her beach.
7 p.m. — Trespassers were using the dock at the clubhouse on Honeymoon Lake Drive.
8:37 p.m. — A possible DUI driver almost hit the guardrail on Highway 525 near Bayview Road.
9:20 p.m. — A brush fire was reported on Myrtle Avenue. It was later discovered to be a controlled burn.
9:24 p.m. — Children were lighting fireworks on Robinson Road.
9:37 p.m. — A caller complained of illegal fireworks on Brighton Beach Road.
10:43 p.m. — A caller complained of fireworks that were “louder than a demolition, like World War II” on Watkins Road.
10:56 p.m. — A man in dark clothing was riding a skateboard on Highway 525 near Bayview Road.
11:16 p.m. — A caller on Mutiny Bay Road complained about a neighbor who was setting off very loud fireworks.
11:41 p.m. — A group of 15 juveniles were lighting fireworks at the park on Maxwelton Road.
11:48 p.m. — A man on Mutiny Bay Road said his neighbors were still setting off fireworks.

Sunday, July 4
12 a.m. — A caller on Hodges Avenue reported a possible prowler. The woman said she could hear someone tapping on windows, banging and whistling all around her house.
12:39 a.m. — A woman on Hodges Avenue said someone was messing around with her back door again. She said it sounds like they’re throwing rocks at the door.
2:04 a.m. — A mailbox that was taken from a home on Maxwelton Road was found and returned to the owner.
4:09 a.m. — A caller reported a missing daughter who never made it to her friend’s house after the fireworks show.
4:52 a.m. — Multiple mailboxes appeared to have been damaged by a baseball bat on Newman Road from the Highway to Maple Glen.
8:16 a.m. — A man on Langley Road said someone went through his mailbox and threw his mail all over the place.
10:27 a.m. — A dead deer was on Mutiny Bay Road.
12:44 p.m. — A baby deer fell off the cliff near Hidden Beach Drive. The fawn was later reported in someone’s yard.
1:47 p.m. — A possible DUI driver in a red Explorer was having trouble stopping at stop lights on Highway 525.
1:48 p.m. — A plastic “traffic safety statue” was stolen overnight on Brainers Road.
1:50 p.m. — A caller on Deer Lake Road said a boater was purposely boating through flocks of birds.
3:33 p.m. — A golden Lab mix with no collar was found on Witte Way.
3:56 p.m. — Gunfire was heard coming from the gravel pit on Smugglers Cove Road. The caller was certain the sounds were not from fireworks.
3:38 p.m. — Kids were shooting firecrackers into the roadway near Bayview Road and Sun Vista Circle.
4:14 p.m. — A caller on Tartan Way said his neighbors across the street and down the road were setting off fireworks that may be illegal.
